The villagers of Ploverleigh are celebrating the betrothal of Alexis, son of Sir Marmaduke Pointdextre, to Aline, daughter of Lady Sangazure. The happy young pair are deeply in love, and Alexis wants everyone to experience the same joy! He hires John Wellington Wells, a dealer in magic and spells, who slips a love potion into the party tea, leading to all sorts of unlikely couples falling madly in love! This topsy-turvy musical comedy is great entertainment for the whole family. Come, join us for all the hilarity. We have engaged one of the world’s very best sorcerers to bewitch and delight you!
